Working at HomeSavvi as a web developer has been a great experience. The team ranges from recent college graduates, to industry veterans, but everyone is able to voice their opinions and contribute to a meaningful dialogue. No one was super annoying or challenging to work with. HomeSavvi is attempting to solve some very ambitious information problems in the home remodeling industry. These challenges go well beyond *just* the website and I found lots of opportunities to get involved in all sorts of exciting projects. There is flexibility to work at home and manage your own time/projects, yet at the same time there are high expectations on you and the team as a whole. As with any startup, I would caution those who can’t work in dynamic and sometimes unstructured environments. People who are ambitious, hardworking, and like the information problem HomeSavvi is trying to solve will fit in perfectly.
